South of the northern foothills of Dorsum Zirkel lies a group of very small craters, which owe their name to their appearance on sheet 40A1 / S1 (Dorsum Zirkel) of NASA's Topophotomap map series. These designations were adopted by the IAU in 1976 .

Surname position diameter link
Annegrit 29.41 °  N , 25.64 °  W 1 km [1]
Charles 29.88 °  N , 26.37 °  W 1 km [2]
Mavis 29.75 °  N , 26.36 °  W 1 km [3]

The names of these craters appear in a list of male and female first names intended as crater names in the Proceedings of the 16th General Assembly of the IAU (Grenoble 1976).
