Dorud ( Persian ادورود) Is a town in County Dorud in the province of Lorestan . In 2016 the city had around 122,000 inhabitants. The city is located in the Zāgros Mountains .
history
The city was founded in 1949. At least 35 people were injured in an earthquake in 2007. In 2017 at least 2 people died in Dorud during protests against the Iranian government .
