A dosing cylinder is a laboratory device that is screwed onto a bottle in order to dose a certain amount of the contents of the bottle.

Dosing cylinders are usually made of glass or polypropylene .

use

Liquid can be pressed out of the bottle into the dosing cylinder through the opening of the inner glass tube. The excess liquid above the opening flows back into the bottle. A dosing cylinder is used if, for example, a reaction solution is not to be measured with the same precision as a template solution.
