Doug Davidson
Douglas Donald "Doug" Davidson (born October 24, 1954 in Glendale , California ) is an American actor .
Life
Davidson became known in his role as private detective Paul Williams in the soap opera Shadow of Passion , which he has played since May 1978. This makes him the longest uninterrupted male actor in the series. He also had a few roles in television films and series. From 1994 to 1995 he hosted The New Price Is Right , a continuation of the American version of the broadcast format known in Germany as The price is hot . He won Soap Opera Awards in 1990 and 1991 for Outstanding Hero and in 1992 and 1997 for Best Supporting Actor .
Davidson has been married to actress Cindy Fisher since 1984 and they have two children.
