Doug Mahnke
Douglas "Doug" Mahnke is an American comic artist . Mahnke was best known for his work on the characters The Mask and Superman .
Life and work
Mahnke has been a full-time comic artist since the early 1990s. Since then, he has worked on the satirical comics about The Mask and Series X for Dark Horse Comics , while for DC Comics he has worked as an illustrator on series such as JLA , Batman , Superman: Man of Steel and the miniseries Seven Soldiers: Frankenstein participated. Mahnke also designed the covers for the King Tiger / Motorhead miniseries .
In 2005 Mahnke produced two didactic DVDs together with ink draftsman Tom Nguyen, which contain visual courses on the subject of comic drawing.
