Mike DeCarlo (born March 14, 1957 ) is an American comic artist .

Life and work

DeCarlo has been a professional comic book artist since the late 1970s. He has mainly specialized in revising the pencil drawings of other draftsmen as Indian ink drafters ( Inker ) and thus preparing them for mass printing by printing.

In the past, DeCarlo has worked on series such as Batman , Booster Gold , Hawkman , Omega Men and Crisis on Infinite Earths for DC Comics , Fantastic Four for Marvel Comics , the Simpsons Comics appearing at Bongo Comics , and various comic adaptations to Warner Brothers Cartoons like Looney Tunes , Animaniacs and Pinky and the Brain worked. Artists whose work DeCarlo has revised particularly frequently include Jim Aparo , Dan Jurgens and Norm Breyfogle.
