Dragon Mountain in Marineland ( Niagara Falls , Ontario , Canada ) is a steel roller coaster of the Custom Looping Coaster model from Arrow Dynamics , which opened in 1983.

Until the opening of Bandit in Yomiuriland ( Inagi , Tokyo , Japan ) in 1988, it was considered the largest roller coaster in the world. It was also the last inversion roller coaster designed to be the largest roller coaster in the world.

Trains

Dragon Mountain has three trains with seven cars each. Four people (two rows of two people) can be seated in each car.

Theming

A volcanic facade around the helix was featured in Dragon Mountain's concept art . Though the structure was built, the facade itself was not added until 2006.
