The Dragor Monastery ( Tib. Bra gor dgon pa ) or Dragkar Monastery ( Tib. Brag dkar dgon pa ) was formerly a convent of Kadam -School and is now a Gelugpa Monastery in circles Lhünzê (Lhuentse) of Shannan (Lhoka) in Tibet. It was founded by Potowa's (1031–1105) pupil Geshe Dragkarwa ( brag dkar ba ; 1032–1111) at an important site of the Kadam and Shiche schools of the early days of the later dissemination of the teaching . It is located at an altitude of almost 4000 m. It is the most traditional monastery in Lhüntse.

Dedrug Rinpoche

An important incarnation series of the monastery is that of the Dedrug Rinpoches , the current 6th representative of this series, Jamyang Sherab Pelden ( 'jam dbyangs shes rab dpal ldan ; 2005–) was enthroned in 2010. The 5th Dedrug Rinpoche was Jampel Kelsang Gyatsho ( 'jam dpal bskal bzang rgya mtsho ; 1934-2000).
