Dragpa Öser (Imperial Teacher)
Dragpa Öser ( Tib . : grags pa ´od zer; Chinese 扎巴 俄 色 (乞 刺 斯 八 斡 节 儿) , Pinyin Daba Ese (Qicisibawojier) ) (* 1246 ; † 1303 ) was Phagpa's personal advisor. From 1291 to 1303 he was the imperial teacher ( dishi / ti shri ) of the Mongol emperors Shizu (Kublai Khan) and Chengzong (Timur Khan / Öljeytü Qaγan). He was the fifth person to serve as the central government's highest monk official for Buddhist affairs.
