  • in ancient times a river in the Propontis, today the Yalakdere in Turkey, which flows into the Marmara Sea west of Karamürsel
  • Drakon (Campania) , in ancient times a river in Campania, perhaps today's Sarno in Italy
  • the Greek (δράκων) and Russian (дракон) words for dragon or snake
