Dreck der Stadt is a German independent label from Pirmasens , which was founded by Hadi Hajdarevic and Andrej Ils. Inspired by hip-hop culture , the label was founded in 2018. In the period from the founding in 2018 to today, the rappers Sekktor, Marc Soul, Fame, Malek and Zeitgeist are under contract, whereby the duration of the business cooperation varies.

The artists play different sub-genres of hip-hop , including gangsta rap , battle rap and trap .

prehistory

Hadi Hajdarevic was already active as a graphic designer before it was founded. Andrej Ils gained experience in marketing as the founder of the advertising agency Ilystyle.

founding

Dreck der Stadt was founded in 2018 by Hadi Hajdarevic, Daniel Koch and Andrej Ils as an artist management team. The foundation's approach was to create a platform for authentic rap music that would be differentiated from popular rap. Hajdarevic's work for Dreck der Stadt includes the conception of products such as the creation of logos , artwork and videos as well as the development of marketing strategies.

Together with Macandally, the label started the first attempts at marketing. In addition to fully produced music, professional music videos were also included. In addition to Macandally, the formation's artists started their own individual careers. Other employees followed, such as the music producer BeatBros. and BassT as well as the DJ Benya808.

In 2019, with the first million streams , the team, which has now grown together, was structured into different pillars. Outcouplings such as the dirt shop and the Internet format DrecksTV emerged.
