Todorova Iceland ( English , Bulgarian остров Тодорова ostrow Todorova ) is a triangular, iced km in southwest-northeast orientation one long, 450 m wide and 26.2 hectares large island in the archipelago of Biscoe Islands west of the Antarctic Peninsula . It lies 4.2 km southwest of Yaglou Point and 3 km northeast of Decazes Island off the southwest coast of Belding Island , from which it is separated by a strait between 1.2 km and 80 m wide .
The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named her in 2020 after the Bulgarian politician Katja Todorova , Deputy Foreign Minister of Bulgaria, member of the naming commission from 2001 to 2005 and participant in a Bulgarian Antarctic expedition that ran from 2002 to 2003.
