Swiveling beam floors , also called tilting beam floors , are mainly installed under silos or containers in order to discharge good and poorly flowing bulk goods from containers. Poorly flowing bulk goods are also referred to as complex bulk goods. This means, for example, cohesive, hygroscopic or pasty bulk material properties.

By continuously activating the rotating beams in combination with a tailor-made silo geometry (round or octagonal silo) and bulk material analysis, the discharge system ensures mass flow and prevents the problem of segregation and reliable discharge of very poorly flowing bulk materials.
