The Trinity Church ( Polish: Kościół Kościół św. Trójcy w Cieszynie ) in Cieszyn , Poland , is a Catholic church on the edge of the Old Town.
history
The church was donated in 1585 and built in the early baroque style until 1594 as the first Lutheran church in Cieszyn. It was built as a cemetery church in the middle of a newly created plague cemetery. The church was originally built north of the city wall. In 1654 the church became Catholic. In 1865 the cemetery was closed and a park was created in its place. In 1864 a neo-Gothic tower was built.
