Holy Trinity Column (Deutschkreutz)
The Dreifaltigkeitssäule (also: Plague column ) is on the main street in Deutschkreutz in the Burgenland district of Oberpullendorf . It is a listed building .
history
The Trinity Column dates from the first half of the 18th century and was probably built in connection with a plague epidemic .
architecture
The plague saints Rochus and Sebastian are represented as statues. And Rosalia and Karl Borromeo are shown in the base relief. A Madonna of Sorrows is depicted between the mercy seat at the top of the Trinity column and the statues of the plague saints. The column is partially fluted.
