The three-ball house in Bad Hindelang was built in 1671.

The owner was the salt factor and mare yard manager Thomas Scholl, as the inscription next to the coat of arms shows: TS - RK 16-7.I. (= Thomas Scholl and his wife Rosina Keller). The coat of arms above the entrance shows a standing bear. The portal on the gable side of the house is framed by two pilasters with fluting and straight beams. The three cannonballs, from which the house owes its name, are set into the wall above the entrance; an inscription explains:

These bullets were fired on September 13, 1796 in the French / wars of imperial troops blown up on the Jochberg / in this house, thank God, without damage.

On the back of the two-storey solid building you can still see traces of red window frames and corner pilasters .
