Three sided football
Three- sided football (also three- sided football ) is a variant of football with three instead of two teams . The game was conceived by the Danish situationist Asger Jorn . He wanted to illustrate his idea of trivalent logic , a further development of the Marxist dialectic .

The game is played on a hexagonal field according to the rules of conventional football adapted to the field or in other versions. In contrast to conventional football, in which the winning team is determined on the basis of the goals scored the most, in three-sided football, conversely, the number of balls let into one's own goal are counted. The team that gives the opponent the fewest goals wins. With this style of play, Asger Jorn wants to dissolve the confrontational, bipolar nature of conventional football as an analogy to the class struggle , in which the referee stands as a representative of the state and media apparatus, and let him act as a neutral mediator of the class struggle that continues in the political process.

Trilateral football established itself in England , Scotland , Italy , Serbia , Poland and Austria . The first known game played was organized in 1993 by the London Psychogeographical Association of the Glasgow Anarchist Summer School.
As part of the 13th Istanbul Biennale , InEnArt organized the first game in Turkey on September 14, 2013. Participating teams were Philosophy Football FC from England, FSC Dynamo Windrad Kassel and Ayazma Football Club from Istanbul. Halil İbrahim Dinçdağ , who was suspended by the Turkish Football Association in 2009 due to his sexual orientation, was the referee.
