Driesch (Hennef)

Driesch is a district of Bödingen in the city of Hennef (Sieg) .

The formerly independent residential area is located in the north of Bödingen, directly at the entrance to Nutscheidstrasse .

history

The settlement Driesch was probably built on 12/13. Century on. The place name probably comes from " Dreesch ", as they called fallow land or areas that were difficult to use economically. This designation can also be found in old maps. The first settlers made use of the economic opportunities of Nutscheidstrasse.
