Drigung Chetshang Rinpoche

Drigung Chetsang Rinpoche ( Tib . : bri gung che tshang rin po che ), also Drikung Kyabgön Chetsang Rinpoche or Drigung Kyabgon Chetsang for short , etc. is the title of a lineage holder and one of the two heads of the Drigung Kagyü lineage of the Kagyu tradition of the Tibetan Buddhism from the monastery Drigung monastery in circles Meldro Gongkar of the Tibet Autonomous region of the people's Republic of China . This is to be distinguished from the Drigung-Kagyü line of the Drigung Chungtsang Rinpoches (Tib .: 'bri gung chung tshang rin po che). The current lineage holder, His Holiness Drikung Kyabgön Chetsang Rinpoche (born 1946), has had the title since 1950 and is mostly known under the name of Drikung Kyabgön Chetsang.
