Drigung Chungtshang Rinpoche

Drigung Chungtsang Rinpoche ( Tib . : 'bri gung chung tshang rin po che) is the title of a lineage holder and one of the two heads of the Drigung Kagyu lineage of the Kagyu tradition of Tibetan Buddhism from the Drigung Thil Monastery in Meldro Gongkar County of the Autonomous Tibet Region of the People's Republic of China . This is to be distinguished from the Drigung-Kagyü line of the Drigung Chetsang Rinpoches (Tib .: 'bri gung che tshang rin po che). The current lineage holder is Drikung Kyabgön Chetsang Rinpoche, Tenzin Chökyi Nangwa (bstan 'dzin chos kyi snang ba; 1942-), the 36th throne holder of the Drigung Kagyu lineage .
