Drosophore
A Drosophor ( Greek : dust syringe) was an atomizer for liquids .
For example, a droophor was used to moisten indoor plants . It consisted of a vertical riser pipe and a horizontal blow pipe. The liquid in the riser pipe was sucked in and atomized by blowing into the horizontal pipe. A rafraîchisseur works in a similar way .
