Drunkard is a Greek thrash metal band from Thessaloniki that was formed in 1999.
history
The band was formed in 1999. The first demo Alcoholic Thrash Attack was recorded in 2000. The demo was sent to various labels until Deathstrike Records decided to release the demo in greater numbers in 2002. The release followed various appearances until the debut album Hellish Metal Dominate was released in 2004 via Blackmetal.com Records . The release followed further appearances before the band went to Poland to the Hertz Recording Studio to record the album Like Sin Explode . The album was produced by the Wieslawski brothers ( Vader , Decapitated ). The album was released in 2010 via Surgical Diathesis Records .
style
The band plays an aggressive form of Thrash Metal that is comparable to the works of Kreator . The vocals, on the other hand, are more like that of a Death Metal band in their aggressiveness .
