Drying in place

Drying in Place (DIP) is the English expression for a method for drying process engineering systems without significant modifications to the system, so that the conditions of cleanliness and sterility created by Cleaning in Place (CIP) and Sterilization in Place (SIP) are not impaired become. The process enables a new plant run without the risk of dilution of the product and at the same time increases the permanent sterility of a plant by removing water.
