Jamal ad-Din Muhammad ( Arabic جمال الدین محمد, DMG Ǧamāl ad-Dīn Muḥammad ; † 1140 ) was an emir of Damascus from the Burid dynasty . He was one of the sons of Taj al-Muluk Buri († 1132).

As the youngest son, Muhammad had received Baalbek as apanage from his father . After the murder of his brother Shihab ad-Din Mahmud in June 1139, he took control of Damascus. The archenemy of the Burids, Zengi , immediately took advantage of the situation and conquered Baalbek in July 1139. In November of the same year he attacked Damascus directly, but the vizier Unur was able to conclude an alliance with King Fulko of Jerusalem , whereupon Zengi withdrew to Aleppo .

Muhammad died in March / April 1140. His son Mujir ad-Din Abaq followed him.
