The Dubai Media City Amphitheater is an amphitheater in Dubai .
history
The open-air arena was built in the 2010s and is located within the Dubai Media City . The half-stadium has an audience capacity of 25,000 and is mainly used for concert events. Due to the intensive infrastructure around the building, it is particularly popular with concert-goers. Internationally successful artists such as Eric Clapton , The Police and Ed Sheeran have performed in the theater . The Dubai Jazz Festival also takes place here.
