Dubstep dance

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Dubstep dance is a street dance style that is danced to dubstep music. Dubstep Dance combines common movements and styles of hip-hop and funk culture for this purpose . Since dubstep music is electronic dance music, which has a mechanical character due to its breaks and drops , the dance movements appear robotic. In a freestyle , techniques such as isolation and dime stops as well as popping , tutting , waving and gliding are combined as fluently as possible. In this way, the illusion of a weightless dancer is to be awakened, who can also move in slow motion. The most famous dubstep dancers include Jovan Douglas, Julius “iGlide” Chisolm, Marquese “Nonstop” Scott and Timothy “Randm” Salaz.
