Duda Yankovich
Duda Yankovich (born September 27, 1976 as Dušica Janković in Jagodina , Yugoslavia ) is a Brazilian boxer who competes in the welterweight division .
Career
Yankovich started martial arts early . She trained karate between the ages of 11 and 18. At the age of 14 she acquired the black belt . From 1992 to 1994 she was a member of the women's national team. In April 1994 she took part in the European Championships in Prague , where she won a silver medal. In May 1994 she was third at the Junior Championships in Zakopane and won bronze. She participated in the 1996 European Championships, the 1997 World Championships, the 1998 European Championships and the 1999 World Championships. Yankowich has had Brazilian citizenship for some time.
