Duga

A duga ( Russian дуга dugá , bow ') is a high arch, usually made of wood, which lies over the withers of a carriage horse and firmly connects the two ants of the carriage .

The duga comes from Russia and is mainly used in the troika tension, where the middle horse walks under a duga. Depending on the intended use, the Duga is often shod with metal, painted or decorated in other ways.
