Duleep Trophy

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Duleep Trophy is an Indian first-class cricket competition that has been held since the 1961/62 season. Unlike the Ranji Trophy , which is held between the first-class representations of the Indian states, the Duleep Trophy traditionally consists of selection teams.

Teams

Up until the 2014/15 season , the competition was mostly played with five regional teams that were recruited from the first-class representatives of the Ranji Trophy.
