Dun Merkadale is south of the hamlet of Merkadale on the B8009 road between Carbost and Drynoch above Loch Harport in Bracadale on the Inner Hebridean island of Skye in Scotland .

Dun Merkadale is the remainder of an oval Iron Age brochure measuring 10.8 × 9.0 meters inside. The wall on the edge of the plateau has disappeared at the south end, and the section built over the plateau at the north end is only a formless mass of stones and earth about 2.7 m wide and 1.2 m high. The access is on the northwest side and is marked on the left by larger stones.
