Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup is a free and open source rogue-like computer game . It is considered one of the best traditional rogue likes by critics. The game formula of Linley's Dungeon Crawl is expanded on the one hand, but on the other hand the gameplay is strongly summarized so that it does not overwhelm players immediately. It is therefore particularly recommended for those new to the genre.
Each time a new version is released, an online tournament lasting around 16 days takes place. In the summer of 2020, 2800 players took part in 62 125 game runs, of which only 548 were able to win the difficult game at least once, officially a winner rate of only 3.01 percent.
