Dunsterforce

The Dunsterforce was in World War I formed volunteers - expeditionary force led by Lionel Dunsterville .

history

The Dunsterforce consisted of 450 to 1000 men. It was set up in December 1917 and had the aim of uniting Armenians , Georgians and Tatars against the German Empire . It was the British case, the oil fields of Baku to secure and at the same time the area from the Caucasus via Iran until after British India to defend. The Dunster Force was involved in the Battle of Baku , which lasted from August 26 to September 14, 1918. As a result, the Dunsterforce was disbanded.
