Durban International Film Festival

The Durban International Film Festival is an annual film festival in the South African city ​​of Durban . Over 300 South African, African and international films are presented annually. Most of the films premiered there. As part of the festival, workshops, discussion events and seminars on various topics take place.

The organizer is the Center For Creative Arts of the University of KwaZulu-Natal . The most important partners are the National Film and Video Foundation of the provincial government of KwaZulu-Natals (Department of Economic Development and Tourism), HIVOS, the city of Durban, the German Embassy, ​​the Goethe-Institut and the Industrial Development Corporation .
