Durrant Brown

Durrant Brown (born July 8, 1964 ) is a retired Jamaican soccer player . His nickname was Tatty .

As a defensive player, Durrant Brown was active for almost his entire football career for FC Wadadah and was considered one of the best defenders in the country at the time. As a national player in Jamaica, he scored two goals in 107 international matches and took part in the 1998 World Cup in France, Jamaica's only participation in the World Cup so far. After the World Cup in 1998, Durrant Brown and his teammates Theodore Whitmore and Stephen Malcolm had an accident in a car, with Brown sustaining serious injuries and ending his career. Tragically, Whitmore and Malcolm were again in a serious car accident three years later, in which Stephen Malcolm died.
