Durupınar, alleged "Noah's Ark"

In Turkish, Durupınar is a geological formation near the city of Doğubeyazıt in Eastern Turkey , which has the shape of a ship's hull . Some consider this formation to be a remnant of the biblical Noah's Ark . The structure was named after the Turkish air force captain İlhan Durupınar, who discovered it in 1959 .

More recently, the so-called Ararat anomaly has been considered a remnant of the ark. In both cases, the interpretation is not scientifically recognized.
