Shower cap

Disposable shower cap, from a hotel

A shower cap is used to prevent your hair from getting wet while showering. In contrast to the bathing cap , the shower cap protects the hair (especially the perm ) from splashing water from the shower head when showering and not, like the bathing cap, the swimming pool water from contamination by falling hair . The hood is usually made of plastic and, unlike the rain hood , closes with an elastic band at the edge.
