Dyscrinia
Dyskrinie (from ancient Greek δυς dys , German ' miss ' and κρίνειν krinein , German 'secrete' ) refers to a production of a glandular secretion abnormal in quality or quantity . In particular, the term is used in relation to secretion of bronchial used mucous glands, such as when in bronchial asthma or cystic fibrosis of the bronchial mucus is tough.
In contrast to hypercrinia (increased mucus production), dyscrinia has an altered mucus composition.
