In 1981, the team of the ECD succeeded in promotion to the Regionalliga 1981/82 , in which the team participated only in the South-West group then in the middle group until the 1990/91 season . In the following season 1991/92 the team of the ECD participated again in the qualification for the Regionalliga Mitte . Most recently, a senior team of the ECD , which was nicknamed Crazy Dogs , took part in the season 2000/01 in the regional league Hessen / Rhineland-Palatinate .
