history
The club was founded on December 28, 1967 in the ice rink restaurant in Krefeld. Before that, the Krefeld Ice Skating Club in 1936 had an ice stock sport division.
successes
In addition to cups and championship titles in North Rhine-Westphalia, the club also achieved successes at German championships. Most recently, in January 2006, the women's team achieved seventh place in the final round in Regen, while the men's team came in eleventh. Before that, the women had qualified for the finals as second in the Bundesliga West and the men as third in the Bundesliga West. For both teams this placement was synonymous with the state championship of North Rhine-Westphalia.
