The EHC Schaffhausen is an established in 1932 Hockey Club from the city of Schaffhausen in Switzerland that is active in fourth-rate second league since of 2003.

In 2001, the club made it to the first division . By the end of the 2010/11 season, the first team was trained by Edi Modes, he was followed by Oldrich Jindra. At the end of the 2013/14 season, Gianni Dalla Vecchia took on the role of head coach of the 1st team until the 2016/17 season. Patrick Meier is currently on the gang as head coach, assisted by former record player Mike Kundert.

A successful former player of the club is Lorenz Kienzle , who is currently under contract with HC Ambrì-Piotta . Beat Trudel, who is currently in the goal of the SC Rapperswil-Jona junior team , also began his career at EHC Schaffhausen.

At the beginning, the EHC Schaffhausen played on a natural ice rink in the Herblingertal near the Falken brewery .

In 1965 an artificial ice rink was built, which in 1986 was covered with a wood-foil construction. This was intended as a temporary solution and had to be renewed in 2009.

The club's home games have been played in the IWC Arena , part of the KSS leisure park on the Breite in Schaffhausen, since November 2010 . The hall offers 1,400 seats. A restaurant is available to visitors. It is named after the Schaffhausen watch factory IWC . IWC has its own lounge in the stadium. As part of the construction work, the cloakrooms and the curling track were also renovated. This renovation cost a total of CHF 14.7 million.
