The EHC Stiftland Mitterteich is an ice hockey club from Mitterteich in the Bavarian Upper Palatinate . The club was founded in 1993 and has played in the Bavarian Ice Hockey District League since 2014 . The home arena is the Mitterteich ice rink. The first team of the EHC used to take part in the fourth-highest division in Germany.

The founding year of the EHC Stiftland-Mitterteich was 1993. In the 1994/95 season the game was started in the Bavarian regional league of the BEV , where at the end of the season promotion to the Bavarian ice hockey regional league could be booked. Then the EHC played 14 years in the Bavarian state league before relegation to the district league could no longer be prevented in the 2010/11 season. A year later, the EHC rose again to the Bavarian State League. Reaching the runner-up in 2012/13 in the Landesliga Nord and the semi-finals of the Bavarian regional league championship as well as advancement to the fourth-class Bayernliga was the sporting highlight in the club's history to date. At the end of the 2013/14 season, the EHC withdrew from the Bayern League and continued playing in the Bavarian District League.
