Principle of the EIS sensor

An EIS sensor ( English electrolyte – insulator – semiconductor sensor ; German: electrolyte-insulator-semiconductor sensor ) is a sensor for measuring the pH value or the glucose value of liquids. It is based on a metal-insulator-semiconductor structure , with the difference that the metal contact is replaced by an electrolyte and a reference electrode.
