The EM Group Holding AG is the parent company of the Erwin Müller Group with the brands VEGA , Hotelwäsche Erwin Müller, JOBELINE, Lusini, Pogge Meier and Pulsiva. With more than 40,000 items from all brands, the group is the market leader in the mail order business for catering supplies. The focus of sales is on the B2B segment.
The group of companies is headquartered in Wertingen , Bavaria , in the greater Augsburg area , and has other German locations in Bielefeld, Munich and Nuremberg. The Erwin Müller Group is represented worldwide with branches in Austria, France, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, Sweden, as well as in China and India.
history
In 1987, Erwin Müller junior, at the age of 17, founded the hotel laundry Erwin Müller GmbH & Co. KG in Donauwörth, Bavaria . The company specialized in the commercial trade in textiles for the hotel and catering industry.
In 1990 the company moved to the Bavarian town of Wertingen and, after the company brand VEGA was founded in 1993, expanded into six European countries starting in 1995. The location in Wertingen also grew enormously, so that in 2000 and 2009 invested in new administration and logistics buildings has been.
Today the Erwin Müller Group is represented in Europe in Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy, Sweden and Spain. The company also has two purchasing offices in China and India.
In 2007, EM Group International was founded as a sales company that took over the global sales of all of the company's brands. On January 1, 2009, all companies were combined in the Erwin Müller Group . EM Group Holding AG took over management of the global group . The chairman of the supervisory board is Erwin Müller jun.
In the years 2008 to 2013, further corporate brands followed - with Pulsiva, Lusini and Poggemeier, the Erwin Müller Group completes its extensive customer range.
At the end of February 2013, the Erwin Müller Group acquired a stake in the specialist catering company POGGEMEIER GmbH, which is based in the greater Bielefeld and East Westphalia area . Poggemeier GmbH has been a 100% subsidiary of Erwin Müller Holding AG since 2015.
Furthermore, the purchasing company MIMCO GmbH was founded in 2017, which procures the extensive product range for the brands VEGA, Hotel Linen Erwin Müller, JOBELINE and Pulsiva worldwide under a uniform appearance.
