EMISAT is a military reconnaissance satellite of the Indian Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO).

It was launched on April 1, 2019 at 3:27 UTC with a PSLV -QL launcher from the Satish Dhawan Space Center (together with 28 Cubesats , including 20 × Flock-4a , 4 × Lemur-2 , Astrocast 0.2, Aistechsat 3) in brought a sun-synchronous orbit. It was the first launch of this version of the launcher, which has four boosters.

The three-axis stabilized satellite is equipped with devices for measuring the electromagnetic spectrum ( ELINT ) and is supposed to evaluate communication signals, for example to provide the position of radar systems in neighboring countries. It was built on the basis of the Mini Satellite 2 (MIS-2) satellite bus from ISRO .
