EMT X-13

X-13 is a drone from the German manufacturer EMT Penzberg for use on ships and from the mainland . The first prototype was completed in mid-2004.

It takes off from a pneumatic catapult and lands in a network system with an automated approach control. The flight is autonomous.

The drone is a reconnaissance drone and has a wingspan of 510 cm and a take-off weight of 130 kg. It can stay in the air for up to 6 hours and flies at a flight speed of 100 to 180 km / h.

The reconnaissance takes place in real time by means of 8-channel video transmission, SAR and IR sensors and a digital still camera.
