The Electronic Properties of Two-Dimensional Semiconductors , EP2DS for short , is a scientific conference that takes place every two years. Over a hundred scientists meet there to present the latest developments and research work in the field of semiconductor and solid-state physics in the special field of the two-dimensional electron system.

The first conference in this series took place in 1975 at Brown University in Providence ( USA ). So far the EP2DS has taken place 18 times, the 18th EP2DS was held in 2009 in Kobe ( Japan ).
