ESCAPE
The abbreviation ESKAPE stands for the hospital germs Enterococcus faecium , Staphylococcus aureus , Klebsiella pneumoniae , Acinetobacter baumannii , Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Enterobacter species. They often develop multi-resistance and trigger nosocomial infections .
