European Savings Banks Financial Services ( EUFISERV ) is a joint venture between the European savings banks . In Germany as well as in Switzerland, the EUFISERV logo is known from the imprint on the back of a giro card or postcard , as a symbol that pays with a giro card not only in Switzerland but also abroad by card with a PIN at the cash register or cash can be withdrawn from the ATM.

history

After 1988, a cooperation of European financial institutions, it was decided this culminated in 1990 in the establishment of EUFISERV. Its aim is to develop, operate and maintain financial service processes. The special focus is on cashless payment systems .

Since 2008, payments have been operationally processed by a joint venture called Trionis , which EUFISERV operates together with First Data .
