history

The locomotives of the series Kk were in addition to the steam locomotives of the series Sk , Mtk and Kk2 and the EMUs of the M Series one of the few train-new purchases of EVR during the first independence of Estonia .

The double-coupled superheated steam locomotives were delivered in 1938 by the Franz Krull (AS Franz Krull) in Tallinn . Up until 1953, the locomotives carried passenger trains at a top speed of 100 km / h.
