The Earl of Angus' Monument is a memorial in the Scottish village of Douglas in the council area of South Lanarkshire . In 1971 the structure was included in the Scottish monument lists in the highest monument category A.

The memorial is on the eastern edge of Douglas near the banks of Douglas Water . It was built in 1892 on the 200th anniversary of the establishment of the Cameronians by James Douglas, Earl of Angus . The Cameronians regiment was mustered nearby (see also Low Parks Museum ). An inscription in the base indicates the reason for its construction.

The English sculptor Thomas Brock was responsible for the design of the Earl of Angus' Monument. It consists of a bronze statue of the earl resting on a pedestal. The badge of the Cameronians is engraved on the east side of the base. The underlying foundation is stepped and as rustication work. An iron fence with spear-shaped ends encloses the monument.
